Peak/idle period hint, a pure browser surface plugin. The browser half occupies the conversation-declared conversation.input.left list seat (the left end of the composer tool row, beside the resident access-mode / plan / attach chrome); the node half is an empty apply (the roster row).

The badge computes the current period from Beijing time (UTC+8, a fixed offset with no DST) and renders:

  • 高峰时段 (peak, warn-colored dot) — Monday–Friday Beijing time 09:00–12:00 and 14:00–18:00 (the end hours 12:00 and 18:00 are idle).
  • 空闲时段 (idle, success-colored dot) — every other time, and all of Saturday and Sunday.

The chip also shows the current Beijing time (HH:MM) and refreshes itself every 30 seconds from a component-local timer, so the label follows period switches without a page reload. Colors ride theme tokens (--dsw-alias-state-warn-primary / --dsw-alias-state-success-primary), so both light and dark themes are covered.

Model Experience

None. The badge is a pure local clock readout; it reads no session state, registers no tool, and adds no prompt content.

Known Limitations and Deferred Work

  • Hard-coded Beijing time — the period rule and time zone are fixed to UTC+8 per the product requirement; there is no user-facing time-zone or rule configuration.
  • Composer-only placement — the badge lives in the composer tool row, so it is visible only while a conversation composer is rendered; the no-session hero shows nothing.
  • 30-second refresh granularity — the label can lag a period switch by up to 30 seconds by design; no sub-minute alignment is performed.
