Configuration

In the profile's cordis.patch.yml:

- id: dsh-agent-browser
  name: dsh-agent-browser
  config:
    # Register browser_eval. It runs arbitrary script in the page, so it stays
    # off unless a deployment opts in.
    enableEval: false
    # Character budget for browser_read text/html.
    maxReadChars: 20000
    # browser_screenshot downscales to at most this width before delivery.
    screenshotMaxWidth: 1568

The Inspect channel also has a process-wide client-query timeout, defaulting to 10 s. A slow page can exceed it, so raise it on the runner that owns the registry:

- id: cordis-host-runner
  name: '@deepseek-ai/dsh-cordis-host-runner'
  config:
    clientInspectTimeoutMs: 60000

Each browser call spends its own 6 s budget waiting on the page, deliberately under that 10 s default so a slow page answers "still loading" instead of turning into an opaque transport timeout. The budget covers the whole call, not one step of it: browser_act { action: "wait" }, navigation settles and the pause after a click all draw from the same deadline, so no single call can outlast the caller. Raise clientInspectTimeoutMs (above) if you want a longer ceiling to spend — the plugin's budget stays 6 s, since it is not configurable today.
