Composition

The plugin requires the client slot renderer, locale service, conversation view contract, and Session Controller Remote. The Web application bundle mounts it after the standard conversation views. Registration is effect-owned, so unloading the plugin removes the tab and its dictionaries.

Failure handling

Diagnosis loading is cancellable at the view lifecycle level: a result for an unmounted or replaced view is ignored. Remote failures render a localized retry control. The view does not expose transport error text.

Dev Note

The view is a presentation-only client contribution. Persistence, diagnosis, Remote authorization, and RCA model routing remain owned by their respective Host and capability packages.

Nothing. The browser view requests deterministic session/diagnose findings and never sends a model request.

RCA action

What the model sees

The explicitly selected provider receives the deterministic report and payload-free span summaries. Prompts, tool arguments, message content, call ids, and opaque metadata are excluded.

The RCA request consumes the selected model's tokens within the configured input and output bounds.

KV Cache effect

The RCA request is independent of the active conversation request and does not alter its cache prefix.

Known Limitations and Deferred Work

• RCA requires a pending model selection in the current Session; this view does not provide a provider catalog or model picker.
• Diagnosis output is limited to the report fields and recommendation codes supplied by the Host.
